An evening of conversations with Cosmopolis #2 artists from Central and South America, to discuss how their work shapes alternative narratives by bringing silenced histories to light and fostering alternate forms of interaction and value. Structured around questions of time, the event will feature a session on artistic practices from Guatemala that call into question received frameworks of ‘modernity’, followed by a panel on the non-linear forms of historical understanding that emerge through decolonial knowledge.
